COVID-19

Following Government Guidelines we will at present remain open to service and repair bikes for transport and exercise during the lockdown period but closely monitoring the situation on a daily basis.

We want to reassure customers that we are  taking all necessary steps to follow the guidance given by the Government.

• We will contact customers when their bike is ready for collection to minimize customer contact
• Ask that payment be made by bank transfer before so repairs can be taken right away or contactless where possible
• Limit customers in store to one at a time by maintaining a "locked door policy" so that social distancing can be maintained in a managed environment
• We may put an appointment system in place to keep customer contact to a minimum
• We will be increasing the amount of cleansing of the shop.  The retail areas, workshops and contact points such as doors, handles and surfaces will be cleaned regularly
• We can accept orders over the phone for collection or delivery depending on item

If  you are still able to ride your bikes outside, it is crucial that you stick within the government guidelines.  

• stay local and use open spaces near to your home where possible - do not travel unnecessarily
• you should only go outside alone or with members of your own household
• keep at least 2 metres apart from anyone outside your household at all times
• gatherings of more than two in parks or other public spaces have been banned and the police will enforce this
• if you have a garden, make use of the space for exercise and fresh air
• take hygiene precautions when you are outside, and wash your hands as soon as you are back indoors

In addition to the above, British Cycling have also advised when riding outside that "all cyclists ride on routes you know well, that they are close to home and that are well within your ability level".
